A week after the 2019 general elections that raised a lot of dust, the ashes are still felt in some locations around the country.
And the latest has to be INEC election material that were spotted on the streets of Lagos after declaring Buhari winner.
Okeke expressed shock over the development adding that his vote did not count but Mr President was declared winner.
He wrote on the social media platform saying;
“So inec has announced results and the ballot box for my zone is still right here, in the middle of my street, please does that mean that my vote didn’t count 🙄 I’m shook! (picture taken at 9:45am today)”
It is no longer secret that there was a lot of irregularities in the recently concluded election, as number of votes were not adding up and stories of ballot boxes being snatched and burnt filled the atmosphere.
Even international election observer, mission bodies like the European Union, Common Wealth, ECOWAS disclosed in their reports that the election was flooded with irregularities due to lack of improved electoral law.
It is only right that those responsible for this act be held accountable for their actions.
