Terence Kongolo’s own goal finished off a good victory for City although they conceded a goal from the visitors just before half time. Man city showcased their talent and skills with or without De Bruyne who suffered a knee injury earlier this week which would rule the Belgian out for Three Months.

An Aguero Hat-Trick looked unlikely as he was about to be taken off and he had already hit the post but the Argentine was not to be stopped as he flicked on to Mendy’s sumptuous low-cross and was substituted afterwards for Leroy Sane who was involved in the final goal as he combined excellently with Gabriel Jesus to break Huddersfield defence but his attempt to score was saved by Hamer but went in off Kongolo.

De Bruyne’s expected three-month absence is a huge blow for City but with Aguero and Silva in excellent form and Mendy, who barely featured at all last term due to a serious knee ligament injury, offering Guardiola’s side another dimension it’s safe to say No de Bruyne, No problem .
#PEP: Since @aguerosergiokun came back, he came back perfect. He feels free now. He just doesn’t score goals, he makes space and doesn’t stop and when he does that, he’s one of the best, best, best strikers in the world without a doubt! #cityvhudds #mancity pic.twitter.com/cYRSJSGp9K
