An American author known as Greg Dybec has taken to social media to express his gratitude towards a Nigerian who sent him Super Eagles jersey shortly after the conclusion of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

According to Greg, he tried to get the jersey during the tournament but ran out of luck as the kit was out of stock in all the stores but was later gifted the Super Eagles jersey by a Nigerian fan shortly after the 2018 World Cup

He explained that he got the jersey from the Nigerian who earlier promised to mail him one after the championship.

The New York born Podcast producer/author took to his twitter official handle to commend the Nigerian for his kind gesture.

According to him;

“Met a Nigerian man at the World Cup & told him how much I loved this jersey (sold out everywhere). He took my address and told me he’d mail me one. Didn’t believe him but today this showed up all the way from Nigeria. Random acts of kindness do exist.”

Greg further added;

“Much love to all the amazing (and hilarious) Nigerians sharing the story and spreading positivity. Thanks for making Nigeria the next country I want to visit. And the jersey is real.”
