A Former Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Victor Giadom has joined his voice to condemn the reported siege by the police at the hotel the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike was lodged in on Friday in Benin.
Giadom took to his Twitter account on Saturday morning to express his displeasure with the action of the police.
The former Rivers State Commissioner of works in Rivers State and deputy governorship candidate of the APC in the 2019 general election said even though he is an APC Chieftain, he would not support illegality.
He wrote;
“Stopping a sitting governor that like @GovWike that has immunity to move freely at least till 11:59 yesterday, should be seen as an infringement of the Constitution and could be seen as a treasonable act.”
