Former Leicester City star man. Riyad Mahrez, failed to impress City boss on his debut game as the defending Champions opened their new campaign with a 2-0 victory over Arsenal at the Emirate stadium, thanks to suberb goals from Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva.
The Englishman with an early lead for the Champions. It was a terrific solo effort from the winger aa he cuts inside from the left, takes on two Arsenal players and then just places the ball into the bottom corner. Cech had no chance of saving that, but it’s far too easy for Sterling after poor defending by the Gunners.
Watch Sterling’s goal….
They didn’t close him down quick enough.

64 minutes on, Bernardo Silva doubled the Champions lead, after a shaky 10 minutes in which Arsenal were starting to get on top. Mendy raced forward down the left, plays a one-two with Sterling and the cuts the ball back to Silva who fired the ball past Cech, who had no chance.
Watch Bernardo Silva beautiful goal..
