Arsenal defeated West Ham 1-0 at Emirates Stadium to make it three Premier League wins in a row.
The visitors edged a first half that saw both teams hit the frame of the goal, but Arteta’s men – who had a couple of penalty appeals rejected – found a way through 12 minutes from time, with Lacazette’s goal being awarded by VAR after it was initially ruled out for offside.

This victory lifts Arsenal into ninth place, five points adrift of Chelsea in fourth ahead of their rearranged trip to Manchester City on Wednesday.
West Ham remain level on points with 18th-placed Bournemouth, meanwhile, with Wolves up next at the London Stadium in eight days’ time.
