Gerard Pique, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez were on target for Barcelona as they came from behind to sweep aside Rayo Vallecano 3-1 at the Camp Nou.
The Madrid based outfit stunned Camp Nou faithfuls when they took an unexpected lead through Raul De Tomas in the 24th minute.
The Spanish striker on loan from Real Madrid was fed by Garcia when they hit a counter attack, De Tomas did well to beat his markers and strike the ball past Ter Stegen in goal. His 11th strike of the season in Laliga Santander.
After going a goal down, Barcelona started charging for an equalizer with Messi leading the charge. The Argentine eventually sent in a freekick which Pique met with a powerful header for the equalizer they were searching for.

Second placed Atletico Madrid also secured a win against Leganes after Saul Niguez scored in the 50th minute. The midfielder saw his penalty saved by another Real Madrid loanee, Andriy Lunin, but he did well to convert the rebound to keep Atletico’s title hopes alive.
