La Liga champions, Barcelona are looking to hijack Eden Hazard from their bitter rival, Real Madrid as they set to offer a player in return in order to sign the Belgian from Chelsea.
According to the Mirror, who cite claims from Spanish radio station Onda Cero, Barcelona are reportedly ready to offer Frenchman Ousmane Dembele in part exchange for Hazard.
The Belgian is being tipped to leave Stamford Bridge this summer following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid, but there is also interest from Barcelona.
He was a standout performer at this month’s FIFA World Cup in Russia, bagging three goals, two assists and four Man of the Match performances as he captained his country to their highest ever World Cup finish with a 2-0 win over England in the third-place playoff.
Dembele only signed for Barcelona last summer in a £97 million transfer, but he has been unable to realise his potential at the Nou Camp.
Unfortunate injuries have held the Frenchman back and they are now ready to cut their losses with the young talent as they prepare to make way for Hazard.
