Bernardo Silva has been charged for misconduct and breach of code to race/colour.

The Portuguese had come under series of scrutiny to what they deemed racist abuse to teammate Benjamin Mendy via a tweet.

Kick it out called for action to be taken against the playmaker describing it as an “offensive behaviour” also “racist stereotypes are never acceptable as ‘banter”.

After investigations, FA has ruled that B.Silva “aggravated breach” of their rule as the tweet had a reference “to race and/or colour and or ethnic origin”.
There is a possible six-game ban for the star as he has until 9th of October, 2019 to respond.
