Real Madrid have made their first signing in Zidane’s second spell as manager.
The club announced on their website that they’ve captured Brazilian defender, Éder Gabriel Militão from FC Porto on a six years deal.
• Real Madrid reportedly paid Militão’s €50 million release clause to seal the deal.
When Zidane was presented as new manager, he revealed that there will changes made next season at the club.
Evidently, the changes have started with the signing of a young, versatile and promising defender in Militão who will be reporting to Valdebebas in July, 2019.
The 21 year old moved to FC Porto– where he has made 20 appearances– from Brazilian giants, Sao Paulo.
In 2018, Militão was called up for the first time by Tite to the Brazilian national team set up. He eventually made his official debute for the Brazilian senior side in a 5-0 friendly win against El Salvador, in September.
