Former Chelsea number one goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois couldn’t hide his excitement as he was happy to welcome Eden Hazard after Los Blancos announced the signing of the Chelsea striker on a five-year deal.
Courtois was so happy to welcome Eden Hazard to his new club.
It could be recalled that immediately after the World Cup in Russia, Courtois noted that;
“Wherever I go, Hazard must come along. We will not let each other go.”
Well, guess who was right? The Belgian goalkeeper of course, just a year later as Real Madrid confirmed on Friday night the signing of Hazard on a five-year deal that will have him stay at the Bernabéu until 2024.
However, Courtois became the first Madrid player to welcome Hazard to his new club as he took to his twitter page – @thibautcourtois to post a photo himself along side the Chelsea Legend with a welcome message.
The message reads;
“Bienvenido al mejor club del mundo”
Which translates to;
“Welcome to the best club in the world”
Meanwhile, the duo are currently in Belgium camp, training ahead of their Euro qualifiers against Kazakhstan and Scotland.
