City needed to cut the gap on Liverpool and did so as they defeated Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday Evening.

With much possession of the game City took the lead in the 38th minute after a Great ball in from the right by Bernardo Silva was met by Gabriel Jesus who stole a yard and glanced the ball in off his shoulder.

92 seconds later they got their second from a brilliant counter-attacking with Kevin De Bruyne on the charge, Jesus switched it for Raheem Sterling, who flipped a gorgeous pass for David Silva to catch on the volley.

Two brilliant saves from Ederson helped City hold on and win the game 2-0 as they cut the gap on Liverpool to 5 points.
