Raheem Sterling’s first half strike was cancelled off by Pasalic’s header as Atlanta steals a point at the Stadio San Siro.
City started off the game in a flyer as Raheem Sterling scored his 14th goal of the season in the 7th minute, as Bernardo Silva’s pass was back-hilled by Gabriel Jesus setting up an open space for Sterling to tuck the ball into the back of the net and give City the 1-0 lead.
City were given a chance to double their lead at half time after a penalty decision was overruled by VAR as a free kick and the resulting free kick led to another Penalty decision given by VAR for handball but Gabriel Jesus wasn’t able to convert from the spot with a careless penalty.
Atlanta equalized in the 50th minute after a beautiful cross from the left was met by a free rushing Mario Pasalic who’s header rattled the net and gave substitute goalkeeper Claudio Bravo no chance.
A red card for Claudio Bravo and alot of time wasted for Kyle Walker to replace him was all there was to the game as City and Atlanta share the spoils.
