Manchester City dropped all three points to take them to eight points behind Liverpool as Wolves stunned City at the Etihad Stadium.
It was all square at half time as City saw more of the ball but Wolves had the better chances and it was all to play for in the second half.
City were so close to break the deadlock in the 60th minutes through a superb David Sliva’s free-kick that hammered off the top corner crossbar.
Wolves took the lead in 80th minute as Raul Jimenez broke at pace from midfield, beats a man a passes to Adama Traore who smashed the ball past Ederson to give the Wolves a late lead.
Jimenez and Traore combined together again to pile pressure on City at added minute and were rewarded as Adama Traore banged his brace to give Wolves a 2-0 victory over City at the Etihad Stadium.
