Manchester City got back to winning ways on a Sunday Afternoon as they brushed aside a resilient Bournemouth side 3-1 at the Vitality Stadium.
Sergio Aguero broke the deadlock with only 15 minutes of the game gone, a quick movement from De Bruyne and David Silva opened up space for Oleksandr Zinchenko, with a low driven pass picked out De Bruyne who flopped his shot as it fell nicely for Aguero who picked his spot with a low shot from close range.
City doubled their lead in the 42nd minute with Bournemouth failing to make most of their chances, City made them pay as David Silva picked out Raheem Sterling with a beautiful pass as Sterling converted to score his 11th goal in 10 matches against the Cherries.
New signing, Harry Wilson pulled one back for the Cherries in first half injury time with a beautiful freekick, as Ayemeric Laporte brought down Calum Wilson close to the City 18-yard box.
City got their 2 goal lead back in the 63rd minute after Aguero and Silva combined to work their way into the Cherries’ defence, as Aguero finished off Silva’s work with a poke in to score his 2nd of the game and his 400th goal for Club and Country.
The victory sees Manchester City climb to second position behind major rivals Liverpool.
