Femi Fani Kayode has taken to twitter to express his disappointment over the video which has gone viral, which captured the moment when the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu, made a statement ” that he strongly believes that Coronavirus is caused by Corruption”.

The statement which was made by the acting Chairman, Ibrahim Magu, at the passing out parade of 281 cadets of the EFCC Detective Inspector Course-5, at the Nigerian Defence Academy, in Kaduna, on Tuesday.
“EFCC has zero tolerance for corruption as our mandate is to kill corruption as corruption is worse than all the diseases we have now and I strongly believe coronavirus is caused by corruption,’’ he said.
Femi Fani-Kayode seemed not to be, the only one disappointed over this Magu’s statement, as other social media users have taken turns to express their displeasure too.
While some have trolled the EFCC Chairman over blunder made in his speech, and some came to his rescue stating ‘what if the statement made by the Chairman was true according to a post made by fcpablog.com on the 30th of January, 2020’.

Earlier today, the EFCC on their official handle had made denial claims, that the Chairman never made such statements and has since called on the Cable, to take down the post and to apologise.
