We are in mid week already, another beautiful Thursday and we’ve been constantly advised to stay home and stay safe to help curb the spread of coronavirus pandemic.
So, while you are home and dry, I’ve decided to talk about the lastest trend in Nigeria as I bring to your attention collections of Ankara face masks.
These Ankara face masks are uniquely made for you and your family and the stunning part of it all is that they are reusable and washable face masks and will surely help one save too much spending this period they say.
It seems a lot of people are now into making face masks with Ankara and fabric, but there are also lots of questions to be asked and I’m trying to understand.
Is it comfortable to breath with the Ankara face mask?
Are the Ankara face masks really effective?
Can one really wash and reuse them?
And how will it help really?
Before one gets to suffocate and die over lack of oxygen and ignorance as well.
Prevention they say, is better than cure, face Masks serves as protection against the deadly virus and these beautiful reversible, washable Ankara face mask have been created to help us stay safe?
Well, after speaking to our in house doctor, a junior doctor in UK, he noted that Ankara is not ideal to use as face mask.
According to him, Covid-19 is known to stick to fabric that’s why they wear scrubs and dispose them immediately after attending to a patient with the virus.
So what do you guys think?
Despite what the doctor said, another important question is, under what conditions were these masks made?
Should the ankara face mask (cloth mask) still be seen as an alternative/a substitute for the standard N-95 respirator and surgical masks that offer 95% protection against the Covid19 and 100% protection against other pathogens ?
