Inspired by the times we’re currently living through, multi-instrumentalist – Dike Okoh offers some light at the end of the tunnel through forthcoming single, ‘Bossa Nights’ set for release on 14th August.
Okoh teamed up with some the industry’s most seasoned musicians to create a tranquil instrumentation of live acoustic guitar, live-bass, percussion, live drums, vocal synths, saxophone and trumpet, glazed over with Okoh’s soothing semi- baritone vocal instrument.
Okoh – who was previously signed as a writer to EMI music publishing UK – has toured widely as a musician (singer and keyboard player), performing at Glastonbury Festival and the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.
He wrote and produced composition ‘2049’. Performed at London’s Barbican Centre, ‘2049’ has to date clocked up over 16,000 streams on Spotify.
The ideal escapism song, ‘Bossa Nights’ was mastered by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios and will be out 14th August.
Miles has worked his magic on many of the world’s best-known artists, including The Beatles, Queen, Ed Sheeran, The Rolling Stones and Marvin Gaye.
