Real Madrid had a very poor run of pre-season games in the United States where they failed to win a game in regulation time and new star signing, Eden Hazard put in very average performances.
But the Los Blancos side, managed by Zinedine Zidane look to have put that behind them, as the French man travelled with a different squad– when compared to the sets of players that were used in US– to The Red Bull Arena, Austria where they faced Red Bull Salzburg in a friendly game.
Eden Hazard was paired with Karim Benzema in a surprising 3-5-2 formation put out by Zidane, which also saw Eder Militão (new signing from Porto) and Casemiro incomprated into the squad.

It paid off as Benzema set up the €120 million euro signing from Chelsea saw off his markers to send a memorable shot past Salzburg’s goal keeper to give Real lead in the 19th minute.
