Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed that defender, Eric Bailly has been sidelined till Christmas.
Eric Bailly picked up a serious knee injury after his clash with Heung-ming Son in their international Champions cup game with Tottenham Hotspur.
Soljskjaer confirmed in an interview that Bailly has successfully undergone surgery on his knee according to Skysports.
“Eric has had an operation and will be out for four to five months, jopefully we’ll have him back around Christmas time.”
With Manchester United rumoured to have an agreement with Harry Maguire, the long term injury suffered by Bailly is expected to facilitate the transfer of the English defender to olde Trafford.
