The immediate past chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State, Bro Felix Obuah has stepped in to persuade the APC leadership in Edo State to discard with plans to expel the former National Chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole and tamper justice with mercy.
Bro Obuah said expelling him at this material time could only translate to political suicide for the already beleaguered Edo-born politician.
He said as a party man who understands the intricacies of party politics, losing the National Chairmanship of the APC in the manner he did, and also losing the arguable position of ‘father of Edo politics’ is enough punishment for Adams Oshiomhole.
“I really feel for you and indeed all the supporters of APC in Edo State on account of all you suffered in the hands of Oshiomhole both as Edo State Governor and as National Chairman of APC. Nonetheless, I beseech you to forgive him. Most importantly, if you discard him now, we’ll not accept him into our more responsible and united party, the PDP,” Bro Obuah pleaded.
The former Rivers PDP Chairman said he can discern the degree of regret and remorse that goes on in Oshiomhole’s mind and should therefore be forgiven.
