Unai Emery’s men on Wednesday night hammered AFC Bournemouth 5-1 at the Emirates Stadium, thanks to goals from Ozil, Mkhitaryan, Koscielny, Aubameyang and Lacazette.
Ozil opened scoring for the Gunners as Kolasinac poked the ball through for the German, who was in acres of space on the left side of the box, and he dinks the ball expertly over Boruc and into the net.
Mkhitaryan doubled the lead for Arsenal after a neat one-two with Ozil round the advancing Boruc, before the former placed the ball into an empty net.
30 minutes on, Bournemouth pulled one back. Leno played a short pass from a goal-kick to Guendouzi, and he gets caught by the high press of Gosling, who simply squared for Mousset to slot into an empty net.
With just 2 minutes into second half, Koscielny made it 3-1 for the Gunners. Mkhitaryan with a low cross through to the path of Koscielny – who had stayed up after a free-kick – and the centre-half smashed it into the net.
