After the first international break of the 2019/2020 season, FPL Yarns is back on the Vibz Football with focus on Teemu Pukki and the last game week, GW4.
Before talking about the Norwich City shining light, let me review GW4, which was concluded that before the break as I revisit Raheem Sterling, Mohamed Salah and the armband.
The duo of Sterling and Salah disgraced my team and certain I was not the only one who suffered this fate from them.
After several hours tinkering on who should wear the armband for GW4, i did favour the English midget, Sterling given what i felt was an easy game for the champs as they hosted Brighton and Hove Albion.
With City taking on BHA and Salah at Tough Moor, I really thought I had it covered but how wrong i turned out to be, thanks to the English Messi.
While it did turn out a stroll in the park for the defending champs, Sterling gave me three points, meaning i missed out of an extra 16 points from Jamie Vardy.
How City netted four goals without the 24-year-old involved in one remains a disgrace really and for Salah, he grabbed an assist for a six-point return.
A terrible captain week it was for me indeed and guess what? We are back at it again for GW5.
Has Pukki been exposed? Fowl yansh don open?
Back to Pukki, who seems to have lost a lot of owners ahead of game week five, GW5.
Despite scoring five goals for an FPL return of 37 points, Pukki is right now one of the most transferred out players heading into the game week this weekend.
On GW4, I decided to join the Teemu bandwagon for the first time this season and was handsomely rewarded with an outstanding two points from the star man.
However, from West Ham to Manchester City, it is very much understandable why Pukki’s yansh has been blown wide open by the breeze as managers do not expect anything from him this week, too.
City have been imperious this campaign and having conceded just three goals so far, i could be set for another Pukki bandwagonism.
What do you think – to leave Pukki or not??
