Manchester City had to come from behind to wrap up their last Champions League game with a victory over Dinamo Zagreb.
Dinamo Zagreb hit the ground running in the 9th minute from Dani Olmo as he timed his run to perfection and volleyed his one time shot into the back of the Claudio Bravo’s net.
City equalized before the half time break but with controversy as City carried on playing with a Dinamo player down in the box and Riyad Mahrez cross was able to find the head of Gabriel Jesus who put the game 1-1 at half time.
Gabriel Jesus bagged his brace in the 50th minute from a neat one-two with Foden, as he cuts back onto his right and curls into the far corner.
4 minutes later, the hattrick as Benjamin Mendy found the Brazilian with a beautiful cross from the left and Jesus made no mistake with the volley home unchallenged.
City made it 4-1 in the 85th minute after a beautiful play set up Bernardo Silva who aligned a pass for Foden to get his name on the score sheet.
