Candace Amber Owens Farmer an American conservative commentator and political activist, a pro-Trump activist, and a critic of the Black Lives Matter movement has come out to state that George Floyd was neither a martyr nor a hero, but his family deserves to seek justice.
Candace Owen went on her Twitter handle, @RealCandanceO to state her diverse opinions over the death of #GeorgeFloyd who died of Asphyxiation, after a police man kneed on his neck, stating that his death should not be seen as an act of heroism nor martyrdom.
In a 17 minute video she posted, she stated that it was not right for Black Americans to protest for someone who died as a result of the crimes he committed, stating the fact that at the point of his arrest, he was seen dropping a bag with white substance in it which could have been cocaine, and also in his autopsy result it was discovered that there were traces of Methyl in his blood and he was high.
She apologized for bringing up his past history but, felt it ought to be told owning to the fact that some people weren’t aware of the kind of person Floyd was, as he was arrested some time ago, for pointing a gun at the belly of a pregnant African American woman, and for other crimes she mentioned in the video before his death and that all this tend to affect how he was treated prior to his death.
