Dreams do come true, as a little girl who sells groundnut at FUTMinna for a living has gotten answers to her prayer, as she gains admission into the University’s staff school, after a picture of her pleading to sign on a final student shirt, so that she can be like him, goes viral.
A final year student of FUTMinna shared a post some days back on a social media platform and captioned it “the beauty of the day… 🗣️She say uncle pls mak I sign na, one day I won be like dis too”.
This picture went viral, as it captivated the minds and hearts of many social media platform users and the University community, just as the saying goes ‘a picture is worth a thousand word’ .
A guy identified as Abdullahi Yusuf shares the result of the picture of the Groundnut girl and the final student on twitter.
He stated that after the picture went viral, the girl was invited to the FUTMinna campus radio station, Search FM 92.3, for an interactive session after which she was given an admission into the University Staff School.
The young girl pleaded to sign on the shirt of a guy who finished his final exams in FUTMinna, the picture captivated so many pple within and outside the uni community so she was invited to d University radio station for an interactive session, she is now a in the University staff school.
The power of the social media once again comes through for another needy individual.
