Eden Hazard is one of the most skillful footballers we’ve ever had the pleasure of watching. His unbelievable combination of skill and technique sets him apart from the majority of stars in his generation.

Throughout his Chelsea career, we’ve seen some utterly ruthless moments of him embarrassing defenders in many different ways. Twitter user @HazardEdition compiled a giant list of GIFs showing off these moments. You should check it out in full here.

We thought it would be fun to sort through all of those moments and pick out five of the most brilliant moments. Obviously, we’re favoring the ones where Hazard made his defenders look the most silly, may they rest in peace.

The one-hitter quitter Hazard

The some of Hazard’s greatest hits involve beautiful dribbling sequences with a chain of different skill moves, this single move on Robert Snodgrass is so dirty because it leaves him completely helpless. One touch and one deceptive cut and Eden leaves him in the dust.

The unstoppable Hazard

Defenders often get predictably frustrated when trying to stop Hazard from getting past them. In this instance, Dejan Lovren was resigned to the fact that he had no chance, so he decided to try and drag him to the floor. Eden wasn’t having that as he shrugged off the physical center back and put him of the ground instead. What makes it even more disrespectful is the fact that he adds a nutmeg in for good measure.

The Professor Hazard

When it comes to Eden Hazard skill moves, this is the Mona Lisa. Pablo Zabaleta was determined to play the best defense of his life to avoid Hazard getting in behind him. The end result ended up being something you’d see in an AND1 Mixtape Tour DVD.

The spin cycle Hazard

Another simple but amazing moment came against Chris Smalling. The Manchester United defender thought it was a good idea to try and pressure Eden up the field. With one simple move and a few steps, he left Smalling a few yards behind him. The technical ability to be able to control the first touch and spin away from a challenge all in one move is a skill very few in the world possess. What a player.

The get big Hazard

Some say Francis Coquelin is still spinning.
