The General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye has questioned the further existence of Nigeria as a nation.

While preaching during the November 2021 Thanksgiving Service streamed on the church’s official TV station – Dove TV, Pastor Adeboye asked his congregation “How are you sure there will be Nigeria in 2023?”

According to 𝑷𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓 𝑬.𝑨 𝑨𝒅𝒆𝒃𝒐𝒚𝒆;

“Hope there will be oh!! Don’t misquote me.”

The Man of God, who captioned his sermon, “Great Expectations”, went on to charge his church members to keep praying for the country, so their expectations won’t be cut short.

Recall that in May 2019, Pastor Adeboye warned Nigerian government to urgently put a stop to the unending killings in different parts of the country, stressing that Nigeria as it is presently constituted may cease to exist if the murderous attacks continue.

In October 2020, the Man of God also stated that the country may break up if it is not restructured.
