It was gathered that days after they disappeared, their kidnappers contacted their families and demanded ransom.
According to The Nation, the complaint made by Adoki’s brother, detectives in Rivers State arrested one Bright alias Nelly, who led investigators to two principal suspects in the kidnap identified as Friday Akpan and Emmanuel both resident in Eteo, Eleme.
The suspects, police sources said, also confessed to various kidnappings.
Rivers Police spokesman Nnamdi Oboni did not answer calls to his telephone or reply to SMS seeking his comments on the issue.
The young lady, Adoki Joy, a 400L student of Management Dept, UNIPORT who was declared missing last month have been found dead.
The suspect, Friday Akpan confessed to the police that she was killed along two others and buried in a shallow grave in Eleme.
