Ex Manchester United forward, Dimitar Berbatov believes that the red devils need to snap up two experienced attackers to improve the club’s situation.
Berbatov stated that the addition of Mario Mandzukic and Gareth Bale will be of great help to the club and their array of young attacking talents.
The 33 year old attacker is clearly out of favour at Juventus and will be more than open to a move in January to join forces with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that Welsh man, Gareth Bale will be looking to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season following his exemption from their Champions League match day two squad.
United are having a goalscoring problem after shipping out the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez without any marquee replacements.
Berbatov, speaking to Betfair believes Croatian attacker, Mario, can readily solve that issue if the club can go all out for him.
“They have the talent in the young players but at the same time you need someone like Mandzukic.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic was 34-years-old when he signed for United and he didn’t have any problems. Mandzukic is a similar age and hope he could have the same impact if he signs”
“I think he is a really good football player and he hasn’t played before in England but I hope if he comes he can straight away get into the rhythm of the Premier League”
On the experience he will bring in;
“I think his age is a good thing, Martial, Rashford and Greenwood are all young players so they need that time and assurance that they don’t need to worry and they can learn from the experience of Mandzukic.”
Berbatov said in an interview with Betfair.
Manchester United lies two points above relegation zone on 12th position of the EPL log, and they face Liverpool after the international break.
