Laliga leaders, Barcelona came from behind to beat bottom side, Leganes thanks to second half goals from Luis Suarez and Arturo Vidal.
The match started in a rather unexpected fashion for the defending Laliga champions, with the bottom placed side going ahead in the 12th minute through En-Nesyri.
Samuel Umtiti, Luis Suarez and Ousmanne Dembele made returns to Ernesto Valverde’s side, with Wague and Junior Firpo also getting nods, but it was Leganes who drew first blood at the Butarque.
The Leganes number 26 bent a sensational curler past Ter Stegan after Roque Mesa put a good through ball to him.
In the 14th minute, Leganes had a glorious chance to double their lead when Oscar was shot wide at Ter Stegen failing to make the most of Pique’s defensive lapse.
Barcelona could’ve gotten an equalizer with their only real chance in the first half when Griezmann played Suarez brilliantly through, but the Uruguayan striker’s heavy first touch betrayed him on the attack.
The second half saw Barcelona get their equalising goal in the 53rd minute.
Luis Suarez ensured his on header was on target and hit the back of the net when Iionel Messi floated a cross to the Uruguayan– just minutes after Pique hit the woodwork with his own header after a corner kick.
Despite not increasing their temper after equalising, the Blaugrana side stole a winner with just ten minutes of regular time left.
Dembele’s corner kick came off a Leganes’ player and somehow founds its way to substitute, Arturo Vidal who was alone in front of goal and he tapped in to complete Barca’s comeback against the cucumber growers.
2-1 it ended as Barcelona maintain their position at the top of the league.
