With quotes from Marca, Hazard claimed that having played with Benzema since joining Laliga giants Real Madrid, that the 31-year old is currently the number one striker in the world of football.
After having played with Benzema for three or fourth months, I think that, right now, he’s the best striker in the world.
But also away from Benzema’s striker role, he makes others better
With 11 goals scored in 15 games, Karim Benzema is the form of his life for Real Madrid.
He’s also top Laliga Santander goal scorer with nine goals and the player with the most shots on target after 12 league games.
Also, responding to recent developments from the French Football Federation that Benzema’s days as a French international player is over, Eden offered consolatory words to his team mate.
I feel for him, but it’s always easier to play against a team that doesn’t have Benzema
The 28-year old playmaker who hasn’t enjoyed the best of start to life at Real Madrid on the pitch, had this to say on his own form
One can always do better, of course. I think that in the past one month, things have been going very well.
We’re winning games and the team is improving well, which also makes it easier for me. I’m in a good dynamic and I want to continue like this.
Hazard has scored just a goal and provided an assist for Zinedine Zidane’s side in the league after 517 minutes played.
His only goal for Real came in their 4-2 win against Granada while amassing four assists after 11 games played in all competitions since joining Los Blancos from Chelsea for 100 Million euros.
