Just days after Manchester United sent scouts to watch Erling Haaland, the wonderkid’s father has been reportedly seen at United’s training ground.
Erling Braut Håland, Norwegian attacker playing for Red bull Salzburg is currently the most sort-after young talent in the world of football.
He has scored a staggering 26 goals in 18 appearances for Salzburg in the Austrian League and UEFA Champions League, generating massive interests from the top guns in club football, which includes Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus and Manchester United.
But the Red devils seem to be the ones showing the most interest for the young talent whose Father, Alf -Inge, was a former Manchester City player.
As reported by Athletic, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has had Haaland scouted by his most trusted scout, and now the 19-year old’s dad has been spotted in Carrington, suggesting that United desperately want to sign him up ahead of the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona.
It is not a secret that Erling Haaland has an admiration for English football, where his dad plied his trade playing for Manchester City and Leeds United. But the fact that his agent is Mino Raiola will pose seriously problems for interested clubs (Manchester United inclusive).
The player worked with the current United manager while he was at Molde FC. He also recently followed Manchester United and Marcus Rashford on popular social media, Twitter.
Haaland is currently joint top scorer in this season’s UCL with Seven goals, having scored a hattrick on his debut and four more goals in games against Napoli and defending champions, Liverpool.
The Norwegian attacker is currently valued at €100 Million by RB Salzburg.
