Barcelona dispatched Leganes at the Camp Nou with five unreplied goals to stroll into Copa Del Rey quarter final.
Antoine Griezmann, Lenglet, Lionel Messi and Arthur Melo got on the scoresheet for the Catalan giants to record an easy 5-0 victory over Leganes in their Copa Del Rey round of 16 tie.
Griezmann scored the opener for Barça as early as the fourth minute, when Nelson Semedo found the French attacker from right flank, and the number 17 fired a 10 yard shot past Leganes’ goal keeper.
Griezmann almost grabbed his second of the night but VAR ruled out the goal for offside.
First half ended with Barcelona two goals up with Lenglet netting a 27th minute goal when he flicked Messi’s corner kick into the back of the net.
In the second half, the Setien led side continued to their dominant display by going three goals to the good, and this time around, it was Lionel Messi on the scoresheet with a deflected shot.
Things even got worse for Leganes when second half substitute, Arthur pounced on a loose ball in the 77th minute to add to their misery.
Barcelona however, completed their five star performance with Lionel Messi registering his second of the night.
Rakitic played the Argentine on with a delightful through ball, and Messi saw off Leganes goal keeper before slotting the ball into an empty net for 5-0.
