Manchester United’s loanee striker, Odion Ighalo has been offered a mouth watering £400,000 per week deal by his Chinese club, Shanghai Shenhua.
Odion Ighalo has been proving his worth at Manchester United, since moving to the Premier League side on loan on deadline day.
For that, his parent club, Shanghai Shenhua has made a strong move in a bid to bring the explosive Nigerian striker back to China.
A two-years bumper contract worth four hundred thousand pounds per week after tax has been dropped on the table for the in-form striker who netted three goals in his first four games and boasts of four goals in his last five matches for Man United.
The 30 year-old’s loan deal at Old Trafford terminates at the end of the current season, while his contract with the Shanghai side– which they hope to extend for a further two years– runs till December 2022.
It remains to be seen if Odion Ighalo’s will be accepting the mega deal albeit feeling flattered by the offer, considering how attached he is to the Red devils whom he’s a life long fan of.
Reports suggest that Manchester United hope to make Ighalo’s move to Old Trafford permanent during the summer for £15 million.
