Veteran Nigerian forward, Odion Ighalo has made history by becoming the first Nigerian player to score for the Red devils.
It was a classic moment of dream come true, as life long Manchester United fan, Odion Ighalo became the very first Nigerian professional footballer to score a goal for the Old Trafford side.

Ighalo joined Bruno Fernandez and Scot McTominay on the scoresheet, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s boys saw off Club Brugge 3-0 in a rather one-sided encounter in the first half of their Europa League second leg tie.

The former Watford and Super Eagles’ man who was given the nod in the starting line up by Soljskjaer ahead of Anthony Martial converted United’s second of the game from close range, in a well worked 34th minute goal by the devils, assisted by Juan Mata.
