Former Chelsea star, Cesc Fabregas penned a heart warming message to celebrate his World Cup winning team mate, captain, and Real Madrid legend, Iker Casillas.

The former Arsenal and Barcelona midfielder, 33, was full of praises for the ex Real Madrid goalkeeper, who turns 39 today, via his Facebook page.
“The best goalkeeper Spain has ever given and certainly one of the greatest ever. The one who made us believe that IF you could win, but above all, a boy with a noble heart and tremendous humility. And most importantly, friend of his friends. Happy birthday friend @ikercasillas Enjoy your day. I love you so much” – Fabregas tweeted.
Despite being rivals during his playing days at Barça, Cesc Fabregas and Iker Casillas seem to have great mutual respect.
Cesc Fabregas included Iker Casillas in his ultimate five-a-side team alongside David Silva, Andreas Iniesta, Lionel Messi and Thierry Henry.
“For what we experienced together and the big moments we had together. We’ve had so many amazing moments together with Spain,” he said when choosing Casillas according to Kickoff news.
