Spanish Laliga champions-elect, Real Madrid, has beaten the gun by putting a title celebration jersey up for sale, in error.
Real Madrid will only clinch their 34th Spanish Laliga title tonight, should they manage to claim victory over Villarreal at the Di Stefano Statdium.
But according to a Twitter user (@andrespgrm), the club mistakenly put up a jersey celebrating the title on their official online store.
The jersey was made with the club’s Royal White, and had “Campeones” — “Champions” in English– with the number 34 written on the back.
Real Madrid, under the tutelage of Zinedine Zidane are a step away from claiming a triumphant league crown, but still have a difficult test to face as they welcome the Yellow Submarines in the Spanish capital.
Los Blancos are yet to lose a league game at home this season and have managed to accumulate an outstanding nine games winning streak since Laliga restarted in June.
Barcelona trail the league leaders by four points, and will be hoping Real slip up with two games to go to stand a chance of successfully defending their crown.
