One ThankGod Okorisha has taken to social media to narrate how he narrowly escaped a plane crash in Port Harcourt on Saturday.
According to him, coming out of the plane alive was definitely God as he noted that he doesn’t wish anyone to have undergone the same experience.

ThankGod revealed that it was raining heavily when the plane touched down at the Port Harcourt International Airport and the pilot forcefully landed but skidded off the runway and ran into the bush.
He wrote on his Twitter page – @ThankGodDonald saying;
“I just narrowlly escaped a plane crash, coming out of this plane alive is definitely God. I don’t wish anyone this experience, not even my enemy. It was raining heavily when we got to PH Airport, the pilot forcefully landed, eventually he left the runway and ran into the bush.”

The Abuja-Port Harcourt flight was reported to have taken off from Abuja and arrived at its destination at 3.42pm.
Hitvibz, however gathered that the Airpeace P47291 flight involved in the crash took off from Abuja only to overshot runway at 1500hrs, in Port Harcourt with 87 passengers and 6 crew members.
Report states that no fatalities or serious injury was recorded as ground services NCAA and first responders performed remarkably.
According to Punch, the Chief Operating Officer of Air Peace, Mrs Toyin Olajide, who confirmed the incident noted;
“We confirm that Air Peace Flight P47291 Abuja-Port Harcourt had a runway excursion upon landing at the Port Harcourt International Airport on June 22 due to heavy downpour. Our professional crew quickly recovered within seconds of the incident and the aircraft was successfully normalised.”
She added
“Our esteemed passengers on board the flight were calm during the incident and disembarked normally. Our team of experts and the authorities are currently reviewing the incident and we will give our cooperation for a thorough exercise.”
