Kelechi Iheanacho scored his seventh goal of the season to help Leicester City secure a 1-0 win over Brentford during their Emirates FA Cup game at Griffin Park on Saturday afternoon.
The 23-year-old bounced on James Justin‘s cross from the right flank with a left footed shot from the left side of the six yard box to the centre of the post to score Leicester only goal of the game.

With the goal, Iheanacho extends his FA Cup scoring record to nine goals in his nine FA Cup starts, which includes goals from his days as a Manchester City player.

He was later substituted for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and despite dominating possession against Thomas Frank’s team, it all ended 1-0 in favour of Brendan Rodger’s men, who now sail to the fifth round of the competition.
While Leicester will be visiting Aston Villa on Tuesday for English League Cup semi-final return leg, the Super Eagles’ man – Iheanacho will be hoping to extend his goal tally.
