The forward won man of the match award on Sunday after making great impact in his first league appearance of the season, where he helped Leicester grab all 3 points at King Power Stadium.
The Super Eagles’ star came in as a sub to replace Ayoze Perez two minutes after the hour-mark for his first Premier League appearance this season and he went on to inspire the Foxes to victory with an assist and a goal.
Richarlison fired Everton ahead in 23rd-minute before Iheanacho was introduced and he joined forces with Vardy to level the scores for the home side in the 68th minute.
The 23-year-old was spotted in the dressing room with MOTM award, celebrating with teammaates, who were happy to see that his efforts in training paid off and at the end, he said “Gracias” – Thank You in Spanish.
He dedicated the award to Leicester City staff, teammates, his fans and family.
