Amazon’s founder and world richest man Jeff Bezos, unveiled on Thursday a new moon lander called Blue Moon.
At the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington DC and standing in front of the new lander Jeff Bezos said
This is an incredible vehicle and it’s going to the moon
Jeff’s grand idea is to one day create millions of colonies around our plant beginning with the moon then Mars using his blue origin space shuttle company as the vehicle for this massive human fit.
Like something out of a sci fi movie the world’s richest man plans to tackle the population growth by helping relocate humans to other parts of our galaxy before we hit around the one trillion mark.
Development of the new lander took three years and Blue Origin plans to develop a larger version of the Lunar Lander to take humans back to the moon.Mathias Döpfner, the CEO of Business Insider’s parent company, Axel Springer, recently sat down with Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos to talk about many things including how he funds his rocket company, Blue Origin.
During the interview Jeff Bezos said
It’s time to go back to the moon, this time to stay
Could this be a warning shot at NASA in a bid to win the race back to the moon?
He also mentioned
The solar system can support a trillion humans, and then we’d have 1,000 Mozarts and 1,000 Einsteins. Think how incredible and dynamic that civilization will be.
One of the immediate and soon to be realised ideas is the space tourism, where blue origin would be taking paying passengers to space and back. A mission driven purpose for Jeff Bezos is to eventually in the long run see all heavy industry moved out of the planet earth to space in order to preserve our dear plant that is more than likely the only inhabitable place in our solar system at the moment.
In the running for first place along side NASA and other private competitors like Space X, Blue origin is presently building bigger rocket to deliver large equipment like satellites to orbit.
All this comes at a time where his private life has been marred with blackmail, celebrity gossip and controversies with his divorce from his longtime wife, MacKenzie.
My question is, where would you want to live outside of our beautiful planet earth, Mars, the Moon?
