N’Golo Kante and Chelsea new signing, Jorge Luiz Frello Filho, best known as Jorginho seems to be working on building some thing strong for the Blues, a strong bond you may say.
Both players played together for the first time when they faced Ligue 1 side, Lyon during their International Champions Cup (ICC) at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.
During the game, Maestro Jorginho, who has been the deepest of Chelsea’s midfield three during pre-season, immediately charged Kante to push forward and 5 seconds later, the Italian plays a through ball to get the Frenchman 1-on-1 with the keeper but his effort was pushed away for a corner.
Is it possible that Jorginho is teaching Kante how to play Sarri-ball?
However, Chelsea were unable to break down a stubborn Lyon side, but did collect a 5-4 penalty shootout victory in their final game before the new season thanks to summer recruit Rob Green.
