Nigerians have taken to twitter to express their disappointment on the comments made by Kate Henshaw about the ongoing xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa as they hurled insults on the Nollywood actress calling her insensitive.
Paul Okoye was also slammed for the same reason.
The recent attacks in South Africa on the destruction of lives and properties of Nigerians and some other foreigners residing in the country have given a lot of people serious concern.
Many celebrities and elites have weighed on the issues and as well expressed their utmost disgust on how South African leaders and its people have treated the issue, but this can’t be said for Kate Henshaw who had a different perspective on the situation.
“We are responsible for how people treat us.”
Nigerians did not find her comment appealing and slammed her on the walls of twitter saying her comment was uncalled for and insensitive.
Reactions has also trolled Paul Okoye’s comments.
According to him, all these are happening because Nigerians have proven to be people that cannot be loved or associated with, adding that even hell might not accept Nigerians.
“American don’t want Nigerians, Europeans don’t want Nigerians, Asians don’t want Nigerians, South Africans don’t want Nigerians, Nigerians don’t want Nigerians.
“Na HELL Be that oh. There’s no guarantee that HELL sef Will accept us. We are done Unless our leaders start Reasoning,” he wrote.
The Singer however has received blasts of insults following his comments, saying he is insensitive and must not comment on all matters.
