Bournemouth played a good host to Chelsea at the Vitality Stadium during their Premier League clash, goals from Brooks, Daniel and a brace from King saw them demolish the Blues 4-0 on Wednesday night.
The home side opened scoring 47 minutes into the game. Brooks received a throw-in before cutting the ball back to King, who had all the time in the world to power it past Chelsea goalkeeper, Arrizabalaga.
63 minutes on, the assist man turn goal scorer to give Bournemouth a 2-0 lead after a sloppy play by David Luiz, the Brazilian gave the ball away to Brooks who exchanged a one-two with King before taking one touch to evade a challenge and using the other to slot it past the keeper.
And to think it’s game over, Bournemouth made it 3-0. Clyne penetrated through Chelsea defence with a brilliant throughball down the right wing which evaded Emerson and David Luiz towards the quick Stanislas, who cuts it back for the grateful King to grab his brace.
90′ + 5′ minutes, the Cherries completed the routing. Super sub, Daniel made it 4-0 for the home team with just less than two minutes on the pitch before connecting with Ibe’s free-kick with a low header that left Arrizabalaga rooted to his spot.
Must be a huge shame for Chelsea to suffer such a heavy defeat.
