Kubo recently joined Real Madrid and was taken on the club’s pre-season tour to the United States and Canada, and has already displayed his quality in front of his new teammates.
He disclosed that his father thought him how to play football from a tender age but learnt some skills and how to dribble from watching Hazard videos.
The Japanese playmaker said to Hazard;
“I watched your videos before my matches.”
And Hazard replied;
Watch the video
He went further to say;
“I’m learning a great deal as a player and person, both on and off the pitch,” Kubo told RealMadrid TV. I’m having a great time. What really strikes me is the quality of all of the players. My teammates and the coaches are very pleasant and I’ve been able to adapt really well. I’ve got to make the most of this opportunity, but you’ve also got to enjoy it because it’s not everyone that gets such a chance.”
“In Japan there’s a great passion for Real Madrid and I’m really proud to be at the best club in the world.”
Meanwhile, the former Barcelona youth player will play for Real Madrid Castilla next season, under the guidance of Raul Gonzalez.
