Jürgen Kloop and his Liverpool side would be looking to go one better and win the Premier League for the first time since the inception and with the transfer Windows closed, and with only the addition of goalkeeper Adrian from West Ham, star man Mohammed Salah would be looking to lead his team to this glory but they begin there quest for the title against newly promoted side.
Norwich who finished top of the championship at Anfield with their opponents looking to maintain there status as a Premier League side or be possible league shockers but have a heavy task on their hand going into the game.
Kloop has set the standards already for his side by pushing them to go a step higher saying;
“As the team, we know we have the opportunity to be better than we were last season. This is football. Regardless of what came before you know there are new challenges and new memories to make.”
Norwich coach Daniel Ferke is also eager to get the season going and he said;
“we’re looking forward to this game and we will be greedy to be there with a good performance.”
The last time this two sides met in the Premier League it was an enthralling contest filled with goals as Liverpool won the game 5-4 with a dying minute winner by Adam Lallana.
