A citizen journalist has appealed to the Rivers State Government to come to the rescue of pupils of Osiakpu community and renovate the failed primary school infrastructure.
Eke Ernest said the deplorable state of the Osiakpu Community Primary School which is in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area is alarming.
“This is outside the unhygienic nature of the school environment, judging from lack of potable water, bushy environment, no functional toilet facilities, lack of desks for pupils and so on,” Eke said.
He also alleged that the school has only three teachers handling pupils from Basic one to Basic Six.
Eke appealed to the Governor Nyesom Wike led administration to pay an urgent attention to the school.
