Like many Nigerians do say “nothing musa no go see for gate”. An unidentified man has been spotted on top an aircraft in an attempt to enter the cabin as it prepared for takeoff in Lagos state causing flight delay.
Hitvibz gathered that the man, alleged to be a suicide bomber ran to the tarmac where the plane was filled with passengers, climbed on it and headed for the doorway.
Some of the passengers could be heard screaming at the crew members of the Aircraft, saying;
“open for us na, abeg make una open diz tin”
According to Iheanyi M, who shared the video on his Twitter page – @itsdonebro
“Flight delayed in Lagos airport by an unidentified man who ran to the aircraft with a bag.”
The incident however, got Nigerians talking as they took turn to react on Iheanyi’s post.
One – @Edmundorbini said;
“So daz how suicide bomber can run and reach a tarmac where a plane is full of passengers abi wetin?!?!?!
The security implications of this are alarming!!!!”
According to the general manager of corporate affairs at the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, Yakubu Henrietta, the incident occurred around 10:09 a.m when the aircraft was waiting for clearance from air traffic controllers to fly to Port Harcourt.
Hitvibz learnt that the airport security later arrested him.
With this happening, one tend to wonder, with all the security personnels at the airport, how was this man able to pull such a stunt??
