Outgoing Champions, Manchester City welcomed newly crowned Champions, Liverpool to the Etihad Stadium for a clash of titans.
City took the lead after Joe Gomez dropped Raheem Sterling down in the box and Kevin De Bruyne made no mistake converting from the spot to put City a goal up.
At halftime City were three up as Liverpool old lad, Raheem Sterling doubled City’s advantage, scoring from a counter led and assisted by Phil Foden.
The provider turned scorer at the brink of half time, City tapping their way into Liverpool’s 18 yard box and Foden finishing with his weaker foot.
Man City went further ahead, four goals up, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain diverting Raheem Sterling’s shot into the net.
